Honey Chicken Recipes
from Bees Made Easy

Honey Chicken baked fried or grilled is simple YUM!!!!

Harvesting honey from bees leaves you with the best tasting ingredient available for cooking and baking, at least in my opinion. Chicken and honey is my absolute favorite. Below we are sharing some of our family favorite honey and chicken recipes.

Our all time favorite honey chicken recipe is the one that was given to us by a waitress at Cracker Barrel. I had ordered the grilled chicken tenderloins. When the waitress came by I commented on how wonderful they were and that I would love to have the recipe. She didn't hesitate a second and she said, "oh, it is simple" and she gave me the recipe below. We serve it at family cookouts and everyone loves the chicken. So be sure you at least try the Honey Chicken Tenderloins Recipe

Honey Chicken Tenderloins Recipe

  • Raw chicken - Tenderloins or Breast cut into strips
  • Honey
  • Italian Dressing (we use zesty)
  • lime juice (optional)

Mix equal parts of honey and Italian dressing. Put the raw chicken in the mixture to marinate. (I try to do this a few hours in advance but even if you don't marinate them at all the recipe is still delicious. ) Turn grill on and get it hot. Grill the chicken off the heat or slowly basting as it cooks for best results. You can also add a lime juice to the honey Italian dressing mixture or squirt the chicken with a small amount. Some in our family love the lime juice some do not so we opt to jsut add it to the pieces for those who want it. Cook until chicken juices run clear and center is done.

I have also used this recipe on a George Foreman Grill with great results.
